The questionnaire of a 360 degree feedback differs from a normal employee survey by the questions in the questionnaire. 

The aim of a 360 degree feedback is to find out the current status of professional as well as personal competencies.

1st block: Communication & information

The second block determines the extent to which the manager is able to motivate his or her team and promotes independent action and thinking, focuses on the further development of the team and equality between women and men takes place.

3rd block: Team development

In the third block of the template, you will receive sample questions on the extent to which the manager puts himself in front of his team even in the face of difficulties, involves employees in decisions, puts his own interests behind the good of the organization as a whole, and provides room for maneuver.

4th block: Planning & organization

Managers must also be able to plan and manage organizational tasks. 

The fourth block of the template is about identifying with the company’s values and to what extent opportunities and trends are recognized.

5th block: Leadership personalities

In addition to professional competencies, a manager must also possess leadership qualities in order to lead his or her team. 

The 5th block in the questionnaire contains questions about personal qualities. 

E.g. whether a role model function is present, how employees are treated in pressure situations or how the argumentation skills are.

6th block: Results orientation

Every manager must combine two perspectives: the goals of the management and the interests of the employees.

In the 6th block, questions are asked about results orientation:

  • Are the goals being pursued?
  • Are tasks implemented and adhered to?
  • How quickly are decisions made?

7th block: Global mindset

In the 7th block, the leader’s mindset is questioned: 

  • Does the leader look for unconventional ideas or try new things?
  • Are failures seen as opportunities for improvement?
  • Is the executive interested in topics beyond his or her area of responsibility?

8th block: General performance

Finally, a brief summary of the manager’s general performance is given. 

In the course of this, the feedback givers are given the opportunity to leave a comment or suggestions via a free text field in which areas the manager can still improve.
