The Basic Decision:
The GDPR and anonymity
Before you decide on a tool or piece of software, you should consider for yourself how important it is to you to have a German provider with a German data centre (GDPR) and whether technical anonymity can be guaranteed.
With easyfeedback, we offer you both. Firstly, we are a German provider with an office in Koblenz (DE). For you, this means you receive German-speaking support. It is also important to us that you actually have a dedicated contact person. With many providers, you end up in a ticketing system – without any personal contact or assistance. We are available to assist you by email and telephone from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
When choosing our data centre, we deliberately opted for a German provider. We store and process the data collected in Frankfurt, Germany, within the United Internet AG – IONOS group.
This ensures that the data centre provider is 100 per cent German. We do not host our data with AWS or any other provider.
Anonymity from the very start
Anonymous participation plays a particularly important role in staff surveys. If staff cannot be confident that their feedback will remain anonymous, you will not receive honest answers and are likely to make the wrong decisions.
At easyfeedback, we have developed a special anonymity feature that protects your employees and ensures they cannot be identified. When selecting a tool, make sure to check whether an anonymity feature is offered. With tools where the entire employee database is stored within the system, the provider may offer an anonymity feature, but from a purely technical perspective, there is still a link to the employees.

At easyfeedback, we offer you two options for presenting results: Firstly, a traditional presentation of the results in the form of charts and tables, which you can export as PDF, XLS, CSV or SPSS files.
Secondly, with our Result STUDIO, we offer you a unique software solution for interactive dashboards. The key feature here is that you set up the presentation once, and the recipients of your dashboard can then view the data independently from different perspectives.
This means you simply share a link, and the recipient can filter, compare and change the perspective, receiving a customised interpretation of the results based on the selected data within seconds.
Questionnaire templates and help with creating them
Do questions and templates need to be scientifically sound? No, they don’t. Whilst scientifically sound questions are good and serve a purpose, the question is whether that is your aim.
At easyfeedback, you’ll find ready-made questionnaires for a wide variety of situations and objectives, which you can use free of charge. We also offer a questionnaire wizard to help you create the ‘right’ questionnaire.
If you already have your own questionnaire or would like to use the one from last year, you can easily set it up in easyfeedback.
Ease of use – how long does it take to set up?
We are asked this question very frequently: How long does it take to set up the survey? When can we get started?
In principle, easyfeedback is ready to use straight away. As soon as you have created an account, you can start setting up your survey immediately. The interface is very straightforward, clearly structured and intuitive.
For example:
If you already have the content of your questionnaire ready, it will take you about 1–2 hours to upload it as a new easyfeedback user. You’ll then create the design for the survey, which takes about 15 minutes, and configure the settings – also about 15 minutes.
So you can expect it to take around 2 to 2.5 hours, and then you’ll be all set. We call it ‘easyfeedback’ rather than ‘complicated feedback’.
Standard or hybrid invitations for the staff survey
Every organisation has different structures and needs. To help you invite your staff to take part in the survey easily and effectively, easyfeedback offers a range of options, which you can also combine.
For all office staff, we offer a standard email invitation tool; for staff without email, we provide QR codes, or you can simply use the survey link and distribute it via your own channels – for example, via the intranet or an internal app.
How many staff members is easyfeedback ideally suited for?
The number of staff doesn’t matter. easyfeedback is suitable for both small companies with around 50 staff and large corporations with several thousand staff. easyfeedback is suitable for organisations of any size.
Whether you’re preparing an email campaign for 50 staff or 5,000, sharing a QR code with a small or large team, or posting a link internally – the steps involved are exactly the same. Therefore, size is irrelevant.
There are tools that allow you to store your entire staff directory. This enables you to send the survey to the entire workforce or just a section of it at the touch of a button. However, this involves a technical constraint – namely anonymity – and as soon as you have employees without their own email address, you’ll need to contact them manually, which negates the ‘convenience’ of the automatic invitation and offers no time-saving benefit.
Costs – how much does an employee survey with easyfeedback cost?
The cost of an employee survey using easyfeedback depends on the number of employees, the anonymity feature and the analysis features.
€39 per month – Starter plan
With our smallest package, up to 500 employees can take part in the survey. Billing is on a monthly subscription basis and the subscription can be cancelled at any time.
However, this package only includes a one-dimensional analysis without an anonymity feature and without any interpretation of the results, comparisons or interactive dashboards.
€790 per year – Business plan
If you wish to carry out the employee survey professionally, the Business package is the right place to start. Up to 5,000 employees can take part, you’ll have access to the anonymity feature, and you’ll be able to compare departments in the analysis.
You can also carry out an unlimited number of further surveys on various topics throughout the year.
€1,759 per year – Professional plan + Result STUDIO
For a comprehensive and automated interpretation of the results, covering up to 25,000 employees, the Professional Plan + Result STUDIO is the best choice.
This plan provides you with all the features and allows you to set up interactive dashboards for every stakeholder, site manager and department head. The results are automatically interpreted at any desired level or from any desired perspective, saving you a huge amount of time and avoiding potential human error.
In addition, you can use the user licences to carry out further surveys within the company – such as customer surveys.
